About The Artist
My name is Suze Feledy-Jones. I have been a working artist for most of my life. I started designing, fabricating and casting jewelry out of a home studio in Lansing, Illinois when I was sixteen years old. Within three years I was doing custom design and repair work for Whitehall and Killilea Jewelers (among others). Throughout my life I've done profitable work in every artistic medium that intrigued me. A disabling back injury and four subsequent surgeries left me unable to continue painting murals, making pottery, or commissioning work on large scale projects of any kind. So, having come full circle, I am again specializing in one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry that I design and make from my home studio in Crown Point, Indiana, as I can put in a few hours a day whithout much strain on my back. It takes me a bit longer to accomplish a task, but it's so rewarding to be able to satisfy my innate necessity to create something beautiful!
I have worked with several styles of jewelry creation which is reflected by the diversity of my designs. On these pages you will find a vast selection of my handmade art jewelry ranging from fabricated precious metal work, complex wire wrapping, and occasionally bead work using quality gem-stones, genuine Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, wild crafted shells and sea glass set in luminous metals selected for desired color continuity. My price point ranges from twelve dollars to six hundred dollars, so it's easy to find something beautiful within your budget. Price is determined primarily by which metals and stones are used to create each piece. I strive to include a variety of designs.
