In this piece I've hidden the Neolates--or snakelets-- under a black onyx coffin, as papa snake goes for a snack. The focal snakes tails wrap around a branch to form a swing hinge. The spider is a rhodolite garnet. The branches are made using a technique which requires bringing the silver to an almost molten state and manipulating it into the desired shape. I then carve the branches to simulate tree bark. Truly a one of a kind work of art jewelry.
The neck piece encircles the neck as a 20 inch chain, with the pendant dropping a smidge more than two inches.
This piece is entirely hand fabricated of sterling silver, with a copper fire cut bezel.
If you'd like the chain shortened to fit a smaller neck please contact me. I will make the desired adjustment at no charge.
